Proof of Identity (POI) requirements for corporate clients

The proof of identity (POI) is a national and official document emitted by the relevant authorities of a country's government. To serve as proof of identity it needs to be valid (not expired) at the time it's provided and contain a photo of the holder.

The following stakeholders must provide a POI document:

• The UBO(s)
• The Directors 
• The authorized signatories

Saxo Group allows for the following types of POIs:

Residence permits	Not accepted
Digitally issued documents	Not accepted

The following information needs to be present on a valid POI document (see below for certification requirements).
