The proof of identity (POI) is a national and official document emitted by the relevant authorities of a country's government. To serve as proof of identity it needs to be valid (not expired) at the time it's provided and contain a photo of the holder.
The following stakeholders must provide a POI document:
- The UBO(s)
- The Directors
- The authorized signatories
Saxo Group allows for the following types of POIs:
