When a request is sent to add a mutual fund to Saxo Bank’s universe, please always have this information ready:
- Is the instrument for trading or transfer in?
- What is your (indicative) business case. This can be in notional amount in the fund currency.
Please note there could be additional queries from Saxo/Fund provider, if the request is for Alternative/Private Market funds.
Mutual Funds instrument addition timeline guidance
The timeline for adding a mutual fund depends on whether the fund is already included in Saxo’s fund universe.
A complete catalogue of Saxo’s available funds can be obtained from your Account Manager. Please submit a case to Institutional Service if you would like a copy.
Please find below the indicative timelines for adding mutual funds that are not currently available in Saxo’s universe. This timeline is intended to help manage client expectations; however, please note that the number of days provided is an estimate. Actual activation may take longer depending on factors such as fund data availability, onboarding and KYC processes, and the responsiveness of the fund house.
If you already have direct contact at the fund house, we recommend sharing their details upon requesting a fund. This will help streamline the enablement process with the fund provider.
