If you have a client that has wrongfully traded a EUR position T+1 from their USD account and would like to move the position to their EUR account, then this is possible if you complete the excel file called “Position move between subaccount within the same ID”.
Note this can only be done for Stocks & Bonds
In the excel template you must state the clients ID and the account number where the instrument is currently held, and to which account you would like to move the position to.
The excel template can be accessed here.
The Ticker, Amount, Position number, and Instrument Type are available in the client's portfolio, which can be accessed by going to Client tree, locating the client, and selecting Portfolio.
The module will now display all the positions held in the client's account. Locate the position that the client wishes to move, then click on the three dots and select Position Details.
Once the Position Details are open then you will be able to see the ticker (1), amount (2), position number (3) and instrument type (4).
Do note if a client holds multiple positions in the same instrument, then you can either choose to leave the position number field blank and mention the full amount (position will be moved at current market price).
If you press > icon to the left of the position and complete the full details in the excel file i.e., Positions ID for all the underlying instrument e.g., Ambu then the position will be move at the actual open price.
Are your related orders cancelled?
In the platform you will be able to view any open orders by selecting Portfolio followed by pressing Orders.
If you have open orders as shown above, then please do cancel them before requesting the move of positions and reinstate them once again on the receiving account.
Once the form is completed then please submit the excel by creating a case to Stock Transfers
