AIFMD exemption statement

(Legal) persons that request or receive funds or goods for collective investment in order to allow participants to share in the proceeds of the investments (hereinafter " investment institution"), require a license from the AFM. Such a license is not required if an investment institution falls under de minimis exemption. In that case, that manager is exempted from the full license regime and falls under the AIFMD registration regime ("light" manager).
