To manually request the booking of fees on an end-client's account, which should be counterbooked against your account, you will need to use the Interaccount Transfer Excel template. The advantage of this template is that these bookings are correctly classified as fees (instead of withdrawals) in reports such as the cost summary reports.
This enhancement introduces a new column called "AmountType." This column allows you to select one of the following fee types to be booked on your end-client's accounts:
- All-in fee
- Management Fee
- Administration fee
- Advisory Fees
- Performance Fee
- VAT
If you require the new Interaccount transfer sheet, please reach out to your respective Account Manager.
Guidelines for the fee booking request template
Information on the different fields in the excel is as follows:
- Account: Enter the end client’s account number. For e.g. 123456INET
- Counteraccount: Enter your Saxo Fee booking account number, where you want to counterbook the client fees against e.g. 11111/COMMEUR
- EgoAccount: Should always be 50001_ACCINCOME
- CurrencyCode: Currency of the amount that should be booked.
- ProductCode: Should always be “SB”
- ValueDate: The format is DD/MM/YYYY
- PostingDate: Enter the current date. The format is DD/MM/YYYY
- AmountType: Choose an option from the dropdown
- Amount: Add “- “before the amount (i.e. it should be a negative number). This is because funds are deducted from end client’s accounts (indicated in column A) and counterbooked to your Saxo Fee booking account (indicated in column B). For decimal values, use “.” (decimal points) and do not use “,” (no decimal comma).
- BookkeepingText: What you mention here will be visible on the client account statement.
- OriginalAccount: Copy/Paste the account number mentioned in Column A – Account
- VatAmtAutoCalculated: Should always be FALSE
